A whole chapter dedicated to a woman trying to prove that she's not just 'having a bad dream' when being almost murdered.
It's the '70s. If a woman has something to say they're 'hysterical' and probably get slapped.
Where we learn that a man can 'be known' for 'appreciating women' and you can commission a portrait of someone without their consent.
Where my daughter interrupts AGAIN- and nearly nothing happens in the story.
They FINALLY take a tour of the torture chamber and a woman may, or may not, have consented to the hosts kink. Plus both my kids interrupt again.
